Featured Artists

The Featured Artist Program started in July 2003 as a way to promote local artists in  Lubbock and the surrounding communities. The Garden and Arts Center will promote and display the selected Featured Artist's work for a set period of time, typically one month. This allows the chosen artist a chance to receive free publicity and the opportunity to exhibit and sometimes sell their artwork at little or no cost.  A reception is held each month during the First Friday Art Trail for that month's exhibit and featured artist.
